Pretty nice

Overall a must have for any ios musician looking for a nice acustic guitar.

Very nice!

Very nice app!

Nice

Been playing and singing Rocky Raccoon nicely with it... guitar playing for dummies!

Awesome

Ill go live with it!

The best guitar app

Really thought to play guitar on ipad and it sounds great! Smart user interface and a lot of extras

Perfect

Really good

Great app!

Best guitar app ever, coming from a drummer with a music app addiction. Absolutely killer for laying down guitar chords for your musical ideas, jamming live, or just plain fun. Anyone can play this app. Pop up the electric guitar, throw some distortion on it, and you are on the edge of shred. Highly recommended, and I havent even mentioned the great connectivity options. One wish: that the other 12 chords were easier to play, especially in a live situation.

Easy fun and realistic!!!

Garagebands virtual guitar frustrates me to no end due to the guitar not being anything remotely like a guitar in real life. This app is very realistic and is a great tool for anyone that wants to learn from scratch or improve skills and maybe even get rid of bad habits!

Chord Options

This is a very useful and fun app, though you could offer more of the chord options

Sounds Incredible!

This app sounds incredible! I cant stop playing it and havent picked up my real guitar in days. The midi out capabilities add tons of creative possibilities. Its a great way to layer the guitar sounds from Guitarism with synths like Animoog. Update 10/10/16: Still the best virtual guitar app for iOS! The built-in effects continue to impress as does the overall feature set. When paired with guitar effects apps and Audiobus, this app gets even better!

Just Amazing

I use this app a lot in my post production work I come up with so many cool tunes and most of all the sounds are so great and options to export share build on your work makes this app a big five stars Pro grade.

Awesome

You would have to be crazy not to buy this app. Whether you are a professional, an amateur recording on your iPad with audiobus or a complete noob with NO musical experience, this app is a ton of fun. I cant believe this app even exists. It would be nice if sometime in the future the developer would add the extra buttons the iPad version has room for. I realize there are more buttons available, but the interface to access them is clunky. Still, a must buy rating by a long shot.

Really the only virtual guitar app worth using

Ive bought loads of synth apps and garage band type tools, bit none has given me a virtual guitar like this app. Superior!

Good so far

Something to try but lots of things to pay for to expand

Fun app

Havent figured out how to use a fret board, but working with chords and its a lot of fun.

Nice sound, a few suggestions.

This is a very worthwhile purchase as far as it goes. The sounds are lovely, and the program is well thought out. If theyd like to make me happy they could add 12 chords to the left side instead of the currently limiting two banks of six, which is awkward. Audiobus compatibility really adds to the usefulness. Overall a lovely program with a lot going for it and a little room for improvement.

Just what I needed

I was out of town with my family for a month and wanted to work on some music but couldnt bring a guitar or gear. I have some good drum, sequencer and synth apps and was working on a piece when I thought Id really like to hear how some guitar would sound with this. The guitar sounds on my recording and synth apps just dont sound very good. I came across Guitarism and the overwhelming great reviews for $1! Just what I needed and my 2 yr old daughter loves it too

Beautiful

Remarkable sound quality!

Second to a guitar.

Nothing beats the real thing. If you are a guitar player you will know this. The way it sounds, the way you connect with it, the fact thats its tone and range can be felt in your body (especially acoustic), and the fact that its more impressive. Im sure there are people who will buy this app that are the guitar hero types. Never learned to play. And like the idea of being able to control a real sounding guitar digitally. Thats all fine and dandy. Im speaking to actual players here and Ill say that this is the BEST sounding and user friendly guitar app around. The maker captured a good sound and a way to play that has your strumming hand doing what it would already be doing on a real guitar. I used it already to write a song. Not sure what guitar was used to record the sound. I play a martin acoustic and after playing with the EQ was able to get a warmer sound that comes close to the deeper tone of my Martin. They really do give you a lot for the price. I can tell the maker was passionate about this. I was even able to play an alternated thumb bass finger picking style which other guitar apps made impossible. Although there are in app purchases for a few bucks I would have paid $20 for the app alone. I do have ONE request. Make an alternate tunings feature. Allowing us to have the guitar tuned to DADGAD, DADFAD, open G open C etc. THAT would make this priceless!!
