Not too shabby

You can actually play some decent tunes with this.

incredibly useful

very good for a quick string fix or reference on a chart or to find chords in a particular key. buy it

What, No Scales ?

When they come up with a guitar app where you can play scales as well as strum chords **now were cooking** ,but this is nice !

Great for lunchtime tunes at work.

This app sounds great and offers a lot of nice features, especially for someone just getting into music and guitars.

Good app so far!

I like the sound....well see how it works out!

Ios8 issue

Crashes when switching guitar under iOS 8. Please fix

Great App, Needs Update for iOS 8

Really like this app but after updating my iPhone 5s to iOS 8 the app gives me an Audiobus error and if I try switching to a different guitar, of which I paid for, the app crashes. Ive done restarts and reinstalls with no luck.

Fun to play along

For not knowing how to play a guitar this app lets you jam with friends or on your own. Especially fun with iTunes integration.

Cool app!

I love the way this app works. Its very easy to use and learn.

Awesome

This sounds great. Nice job! I cant put it down. Ive played for 15 plus years and this is great.

Crash

Please make this app compatible with iOS 8 so the crashing will stop.

Love It!

**Update 09-26-2014 This app will always have my highest rating. It is my most used app on iPad. I can only hope that the developer will provide an update for iOS8. I have been using Guitarism with Audiobus and many different amp simulation apps. However since Audiobus was updated to iOS8 it lost all compatibility with Guitarism and every amp app that I have. It makes a huge difference in my appreciation of the app. Im crossing my fingers that the fine developer of Guitarism is hard at work to fix the issue with Audiobus. I also hope the developers of all the amp simulations I own do the same. ***** I love this app just as much as I love playing guitar. First of all the sound reproduction of the various guitars is very realistic. But behind the great sound is an ingenious interface that allows for a near natural guitar playing experience. 18 chords! I dont think there is any other guitar simulation (in app form) with as many. I was very pleased that 18 is just the right amount of chords necessary to play Simon and Garfunkels Bridge Over Troubled Water. Strumming piano! The polyphony mode is fantastic. You have to pay extra but if you have GarageBand then dont hesitate. It works great on my iPad 3. What fun it is to strum the piano especially when playing Billy Joels Piano Man. Lol! I honestly dont have any complaints about the app but I do have suggestions for future enhancements. The implementation of a cloud save feature for your presets and the inclusion of more chord selections would be nice. Kudos to the app designers and engineers!

Wow.

I went looking for other apps like this one. There are none. Whatve we gotta pay to get the iOS 8 update fully compatible? Ive got tons of stuff on here!!

Good but Rockstar Pack Crashes App

Unfortunately this app crashes with iOS 8.2. Please fix this issue so that the in app purchases work!

Fantastic guitar Synth !

The realism is just absurdly amazing ! And THANK YOU for making it Audiobus compatible on iOS 8 again

Fantastic iOS 8 update!

Thanks so much for the excellent iOS 8 update with Audiobus compatibility! It sounds great and works perfectly with GarageBand and other music apps! Keep up the great work! Note: If you plan to use guitarism with Audiobus, please be sure to restart your iOS device and enable Airplane mode. Otherwise, the apps wont launch properly in Audiobus. This is an issue with iOS 8—not guitarism or Audiobus! Enjoy!

Real Easy To Use!

Love it! Really quick way to ensure we have right chords on praise and worship songs. Absolutely my favorite app. All-time fav, for sure!

I have an instrument now!

I didnt learn to play anything when I was young. I thought I was too old, too busy. I was wrong. Im not saying this is a guitar, because its not, but it is true instrument. Practice brings real improvement and you can play interesting, complex music. I love it. I have my iPad with me all the time, so I can practice anywhere.

Best of my iPad award 2014

The closest Ive come to a 5-star review. For me, 5-stars would mean a more intuitive interface for secondary chord selection, an option for bending strings (most glaring missing performance option), and please, a simple way to save a performance, or at the very least a warning before I delete forever yet another chance moment of Guitarism inspiration, simply because I opened the app and touched one string. If youve ever been in a recording studio, in an unrehearsed moment messing around, and find yourself suddenly immersed in inspiration, when you come up for air, you quietly pray a voice in the headphones will say "I got it all on tape". Guitarism delivers this precious gift...then makes it so very likely you will moments later lose it all. But yeah its awesome I open it every day!

Good guitarism

Thank you so much for every things.
